Irosun Ogbe (Iroso Umbo · Ìrosùn Ògbè)

The sign of free divination: Elegba is owed and Elegba pays, so the one who arrives carrying Elegba's part is divined for free, while pride, disobedience and the abandoned dog lose the post that sacrifice had already bought.

Patakín:

Here Olofin sent for the dog to give him a post; the dog did not make ebbó, and he got up very early and set out for Olofin's house, but on the way he came upon a bone and lingered, eating it.

In turn, the tiñosa got up late, but she had made rogación and went to see Olofin so that he would give her a post; and when she arrived, since the dog had not yet arrived, Olofin gave the post to the tiñosa.

When the dog arrived, Olofin said to him: "It is already late for you."
