There was a man who wept because he did not have the woman he desired, and the woman he had was gone. He made ebbo and found another woman. When the woman who had left learned that the two of them were doing well, she wished to return, but she could not.
02The Poor Awo and the Rich Awo

There were two Awoses. One envied the other, who lived well in a house with a basement. The poor Awo cast witchcraft upon him with the intention of burning down the house, but the rich Awo made ebbo and nothing happened to his property. (The rich one is the one who envies the poor one.)
Source note: The Spanish body says that the poor Awo casts the witchcraft against the rich Awo, while its closing parenthesis says that the rich Awo envies the poor Awo. Both statements are preserved because the printed source is internally contradictory.
