01The Disobedient Boys
LOS MUCHACHOS DESOBEDIENTES›
Olofin ordered the boys to make the Estera (the mat), but they already wanted to govern themselves and did not respect their elders.
Olofin asked them: "Who taught you?" They answered him: "The elders."
Then Olofin told them: "Then you are the bad ones." And he had them killed for being disobedient.
Nota: Here the boys do not want to respect their elders.
02Obatalá's Enemies
LOS ENEMIGOS DE OBATALA›
Obatalá had an enemy, and he went to the house of Orúnmila so that he would remove him from his path. Orúnmila marked him ebbo with: akukó, addié meyi, eyele meyi.
Obatalá did it, and within a few days his enemy fell gravely ill. Obatalá took pity on his enemy and returned to Orúnmila's house so that he would save him. Orúnmila made Obatalá another ebbo, and the sick man recovered.
